Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Whithorn
A coach will travel for all Kilmarnock, Hurlford and Galston parishes on 25th August. It will leave:
Galston (from Tesco) at 10.45 am
St Paul’s Church, Hurlford at 10.50 am
St Joseph’s Church, Kilmarnock at 11.00 am.
Please bring a packed lunch. The coach will stop in Girvan for toilets and to eat lunch. On arrival in Whithorn, the Whithorn Experience is an exhibition and visitor centre which has interesting displays and exhibits that tell the Whithorn story.
Mass at St Ninian’s Cave is at 4.00 pm with Mass in St Martin & St Ninian’s Church in Whithorn town for those unable to walk to the cave at 4.45 pm.
After Mass the coach will leave Whithorn, stopping in Girvan at the Harbour Café for a sitin fish tea.
Bus costs £5, children/young people under 16 free.
Fish and chips or alternative to be paid at the café.
