Martin Chambers Ecuador Trust

Restoring Dignity

The Ecuador Trust was set up in 2006 by Fr Martin Chambers to aid his efforts in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Here, in the shanty town of Nueva Prosperina, lives a people whose needs are great. They have no running water, no proper sanitation, no sewerage system and poor accessibility to electricity. They have little access to education or to medical care and they are crammed together in bamboo huts – mile upon mile of houses, millions of people living below the poverty line.

The Martin Chambers Ecuador Trust works with the town to improve their quality of life and restore their dignity by providing relief and financial assistance to the people of of Nueva Prosperina. It also provides educational, welfare and spiritual assistance.
