WELCOME TO ST MATTHEW’S

You are very welcome!  St Matthew’s has always been known for it’s welcoming attitude so if you’d like to come and visit us for the first time or if you’d like to come back after a period of time away, I’d be very happy to speak to you.

Whoever you are and from wherever you are, you will always find a warm welcome in our church. We invite you to come and share mass with us on Sundays and weekday mornings.  The parish priest, Fr Martin, will be pleased to speak to you (contact details below and on the Contact tab).

Should you wish to know more about us come along on a Sunday and stay after the service for a chat over a cup of coffee.

CHURCH OVERVIEW

The Parish of St Matthew’s was founded in 1974 to serve the needs of the then developing housing estate in New Farm Loch, Kilmarnock. The church is a modern building built in 1977 to have a dual purpose of both hall and church combined. Built of buff-coloured brick, the interior is lit by a large clerestory window.
